Instructor Spotlight: Lance Martin
Lance Martin was one of the first instructors to come on board when Herzog Music opened its doors two years ago, and he’s still one of our most in-demand instructors for guitar, banjo, lap steel and more.
When he’s not taking on new students at Herzog, he’s booked for session work and live performances. So far this year alone, he’s opened for a number of well-known Country artists - folks like Joe Diffie, Travis Denning, Mitchell Tenpenny, Morgan Wallen, Hardy, Easton Corbin, Sawyer Brown, and Kane Brown. In September he’ll be playing the main stage opening slot at Riverbend for Brothers Osborne, Luke Combs, Bonnie Raitt, and Willie Nelson … and he’s also recently completed a score for the film Kentucky’s Best, now being screened around the country.
Lance’s story is an inspiring one, but he’s not alone - each and every one of our instructors brings to Herzog Music a lifetime of experience and a knack for helping students take their music to a whole new level.
Our experienced instructors are also comfortable with students of nearly any age, and we have a special program available for children too young for individual instrument instruction. We can also work with you or your organization to present special events tailored to your interests—whether it be King Records, Herzog's own history, or other significant events in our region's rich musical past.
Get in touch today, and let’s get ready to make some music!
